Recently, a lot of people are talking about Base snapshots. Not necessarily true—major public chains wouldn’t pull a sneak attack like that.
Here’s my prediction for the Base airdrop rules, seems pretty reasonable to me
Highly likely they’ll use On-chain Score + behavior analysis to filter out Sybil attacks.
1. On-chain weight
Gas fees + time costs on-chain are real indicators.
Deep participation in on-chain DeFi, providing long-term liquidity, lending, staking, etc.
2. Base native ecosystem weight
- The Base App that’s been heavily promoted by the official team.
Usage, Base Verify (KYC or social verification) linking Twitter/GitHub, http://coinbase.id, etc., might carry extra weight.
- Stablecoin payment usage
Base is closely tied to USDC as an official stablecoin partner. Frequent USDC transactions might be favored.
- Base’s deep integration with Farcaster
In-app wallet trading, active posting and interactions (even though Farcaster is kind of fading, they might still consider historical activity).
