To be honest, I strongly support the move between @ GracyBitget and Bitget because it is a solution to address users' real pain points
It's interesting that several CEX companies announced big moves today. Binance wallet integrates 42 prediction market tokenization, OKX has launched Exchange OS, and I feel like I want to do HIP-3 in CEX. Now Bitget is going to directly provide US stock trading, using the exchange+Broker integration model
It's been a long time since I last saw such an exciting exchange battle!
Even I doubt if future exchanges, whether CEX or DEX, will gradually converge and offer Crypto spot+contracts, followed by US stock spot+leverage/contracts, and finally add a predictive market... Suddenly realizing that this is the form of Robinhood? Good news hood?!
Anyway, If Binance or OKX follow up and provide US stock trading on the main site in the next one or two months, I shouldn't be too surprised. I remember last year at this time during a conversation with Binance, I asked if Binance had considered offering US stock trading. The response I received was that Binance had tried it in 2021, but later cancelled the service due to regulatory reasons. The 26 year Alpha trading Ondo tokenization of US stocks should be considered as the second small trial. Now, it seems that the future main battle is promising?
So this exchange stock war is divided into four forces
1. First tier institutions represented by Binance tokenize US stocks with wallets and Alpha trial tokens
Bitget, represented by top tier and second tier exchanges, is determined to directly trade US stocks on the main platform. Roll up your sleeves and do it!
3. Hyperliquid (including http://Trade.xyz This front-end, represented by EdgeX and Dex, focuses on a wave of IPO pre-market price discovery and leveraged stock volatility trading demand through stock Perp products
4. BIT, StableStock, Exchanges that focus on emerging stock trading, such as Maitong, offer a completely differentiated experience from traditional securities firms in terms of stable coin smooth deposit and withdrawal, making it convenient for users with tax considerations both inside and outside the industry. Today, a sister sitting next to me who doesn't understand Crypto asked me if she has two needs. Firstly, she wants to buy SpaceX because she is a loyal fan of Musk. Secondly, she wants to sell a portion of her US stocks but doesn't want to pay taxes. She asked me what to do. I believe that there will be more and more users of this kind, and the struggle between individual investors and tax bureaus will intensify )
THE WAR HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN !
