On-chain analyst b-block has warned that fake Uniswap phishing ads on Google are stealing users' funds, with attackers reportedly making at least $400,000 so far. Stacy Muur, founder of Web3 marketing agency Green Dots, stated that the stolen funds came from users clicking on fake Uniswap-sponsored ads on Google. Security Alliance (SEAL) previously noted that phishing campaigns via Google search have significantly increased since March, with attackers often impersonating crypto protocols by purchasing ads or hacking legitimate ad accounts.
