Japan's Net External Assets Drop to Third Globally

According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 26, Japan's Ministry of Finance released data showing that as of the end of 2025, Japan's net external assets amounted to 561.75 trillion yen (approximately 1 USD = 159 yen), a year-on-year increase of 4.4%. In terms of country and region rankings, Japan has dropped from second to third place globally.
