Maxim Garbuzov disappeared after leaving his Pattaya residence on December 24, 2025, and the search lasted nearly 5 months. Volunteers stated that the cause of death was falling from a hotel room. Due to a spelling error, Thai police failed to locate the body in time, resulting in it being sent to the burial site. The family is currently working to exhume the body, cremate it, and transport it back to St. Petersburg.
