In the past decade, Vitalik has been the captain of Ethereum. In the next decade, we need new leaders to drive the prosperity of the Ethereum ecosystem. This can be seen not only in Vitalik's recent statements but also in the Kelp incident last time—Vitalik doesn't seem to be very involved in ecosystem and community matters.
