I have out-of-consensus views on BTC amongst its holders, and I am frequently critical of things other people say about it. this leads some to think that I am a hater, or unexposed. But I have been growing my ownership for over half a decade. I've sold some here and there near highs to capture a nibble of gains, as best as I can, but I don't like creating a bunch of taxable events so I don't mess with it much. I DCA in downturns and increase the size when price is down a lot. It is larger than my equity and gold exposures combined because I've been good at keeping a relatively low cost basis and I'm still up comfortably. My trading account is completely separate from this activity. I benefit from the stock market rising, but I haven't been adding to that position for a while. That's my choice. Some people are better at getting in and out more nimbly, but I don't fiddle with my long term investments much. I have a good pile of cash earning yield, I own my home and my vehicle, and have very little debt. I live well within my means. This allows me the freedom to allocate as I wish and not feel bad when the price falls. I just wait til the move loses momentum and add more. Do not mistake my critiques and philosophies for a lack of ownership. I would rather express myself freely and honestly than feel beholden to sentimentally pumping my bags to people on the internet to score points with an in-group. I am authentically me at all times, and why not? The market impacts of my at-times unpopular views are zero. I sleep very well at night.(𝐓𝐗𝐌𝐂)
