In December 2025, we executed the most consequential upgrade in VeChainThor's history. Hayabusa transitioned our protocol's consensus from KYC-gated Proof of Authority to public, permissionless Delegated Proof of Stake. The transition happened without technical issue. For institutional observers: the move to DPoS addresses one of the primary concerns about our previous consensus model, namely reliance on a KYC-gated validator set.
