[The Russian Central Bank Files Second Lawsuit with the EU Court Over Frozen Assets Issue]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on May 25, the Russian Central Bank stated on Monday that it has filed a second lawsuit with the General Court of the European Union, aiming to challenge an EU regulation that allows the use of Russia's frozen sovereign assets to repay loans provided by the EU to Ukraine. The Russian Central Bank noted: 'The EU regulatory framework being challenged by the Russian Central Bank treats the Bank's sovereign assets as part of financial support to a third country, thereby altering the original legal and economic nature of sovereign assets.'
