Taking advantage of the Hong Kong holiday on Sunday and Monday, I went to Xiamen, Fujian with friends from Hong Kong and Taiwan entrepreneurs for a two-day and one night field trip. The itinerary was rich and inspiring. The first stop of this trip was to visit Xiamen Jinyuan Group, where the two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation between Fujian, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and promoting the integrated development of the three regions across the Taiwan Strait. Jinyuan Group has achieved remarkable results in the field of cross-strait financial cooperation, and its successful experience provides valuable reference for exploring cross-strait financial integration. In addition, I also visited the Xiamen Airport Economic Zone for investigation and research. The planned area of this area is 98.6 square kilometers, relying on core carriers such as Xiang'an International Airport and Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, aiming to create a new engine for Xiamen's high-quality development led by reform and driven by technology. I have visited the Jiageng Innovation Laboratory in the new campus of Xiamen University and gained a close understanding of the cutting-edge breakthroughs in key research projects such as new materials and hydrogen energy technology; And the regional headquarters will listen to the overall planning and latest progress of the new airport construction on site. The fruitful results of this inspection have given me a deeper understanding of Xiamen's forward-looking layout in high-tech and regional integration.
