FTX US's former primary external legal counsel, Fenwick & West, has agreed to pay $54 million to settle claims from FTX customers alleging its involvement in assisting SBF's fraud. Audit firm Prager Metis has also agreed to pay $11.75 million, while former NBA player and FTX promoter Udonis Haslem will pay $420,000, bringing the total settlement amount for the second round of FTX class-action lawsuits to approximately $66.17 million. Fenwick denies any wrongdoing and claims it was unaware of FTX's fraudulent activities. The settlement still requires preliminary approval from U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore in the Southern District of Florida and does not cover another $525 million civil lawsuit Fenwick is facing in Washington, D.C.
