According to Guadeloupe La 1ère, the investigative chamber of the Court of Appeal in Basse-Terre, France, has reviewed the extradition case of 22-year-old American John Daghita. Daghita is accused by U.S. authorities of stealing $46 million worth of cryptocurrency belonging to the U.S. federal government. He was arrested in early March in Saint Martin during a joint operation by the French National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) and the FBI, with cash, USB drives, and digital asset wallets seized at the scene. His lawyer stated that Daghita has accepted the principle of extradition, and the court is set to make a decision on May 28. Daghita remains detained at the Basse-Terre detention center, and his lawyer plans to file for his release. The charges are still pending further judicial proceedings. https://(wublock123.com)/news/french-court-reviews-extradition-of-22-year-old-us-man-accused-of-stealing-46m-crypto-61564
