According to Livecoins, on May 20, the Property Crime Investigation Department (DEIC) of São Paulo, Brazil, along with the power company CPFL Piratininga, seized around 1,400 Bitcoin mining machines suspected of operating with stolen electricity in Jundiaí and Louveira. CPFL stated that the equipment was powered by nine three-phase transformers with a total capacity of 8,470 kVA. The estimated stolen electricity amounts to approximately 2 GWh, enough to supply about 2,000 households for a month. The report noted that Bitcoin mining is not prohibited in Brazil, and this operation mainly targeted the alleged theft of electricity. https://(wublock123.com)/news/brazil-sao-paulo-raids-illegal-bitcoin-mining-farm-1400-equipment-61547
