[Allianz Research: Middle East Crisis Could Lead to a Surge in Semiconductor Prices (Jin10 Data APP)] Odaily Planet Daily reports that Allianz Research stated the Middle East crisis could trigger a surge in semiconductor prices. 'The energy shortage risks brought by the Middle East crisis could drive prices even higher, as supply is already tight and highly concentrated,' the institution said. Additionally, a shortage of raw materials critical to semiconductor production (especially helium) could impact factories, potentially resulting in losses exceeding $10 billion per month, the institution added. 'Qatar accounts for one-third of global helium production. Helium, an upstream input in the AI supply chain, is almost entirely transported through Gulf ports,' Allianz Research noted. (Jin10)
