Manus getting 'dumped' by Meta is now a done deal.
But finally, there's a turning point.
Manus plans to raise $1 billion to terminate Meta's acquisition and is gearing up for an IPO in Hong Kong.
The three founders of Manus—Xiao Hong, Ji Yichao, and Zhang Tao—are currently discussing a new round of funding, aiming for a valuation of at least $2 billion, the same amount Meta initially paid to acquire this AI company.
Sources say the three founders might chip in their own money to cover the remaining financing. One insider revealed that if the funding succeeds, the next step would be to establish a joint venture with these investors, followed by an IPO in Hong Kong.
