[Institution: Oil Prices Could Surge to $200 if Iran Conflict Persists]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on May 21, Wood Mackenzie stated that in the worst-case scenario of a prolonged shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz, Brent crude oil faces the risk of soaring to $200 per barrel. The institution pointed out that over 11 million barrels per day of crude oil and condensate supply in the Persian Gulf region are currently disrupted.
