In just 1 year, the market cap of RWA has grown 8x, from $4 billion to $30 billion. However, less than one-tenth of it has actually entered the DeFi system. Most RWAs are in a state of static mapping, so many people feel that while RWA has grown, it doesn’t really have much to do with the crypto space. It’s only when we can start stacking building blocks that it’ll count as real growth.
