[Patent AI Company Stilta Completes $10.5 Million Financing, Led by a16z] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 20, Stilta disclosed in its official press release that on May 19, 2026, the AI company specializing in patent litigation announced the completion of a $10.5 million financing round, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Participants included Y Combinator and founders and operators from companies such as Sana, Legora, OpenAI, Lovable, and Listen Labs. Stilta was founded in 2026 by four former members of McKinsey's AI practice team. Its AI platform can perform inferential analysis across 180 million patents, 250 million scientific papers, and over 1 trillion web archives, assisting enterprises in patent infringement investigations, commercialization pathway clearance, and patent portfolio value extraction. Since its launch in February of this year, it has signed agreements with companies such as Roche, Alfa Laval, and Maersk, as well as three of the world's top five intellectual property law firms.
