Within a month, at least six core members of the Ethereum Foundation have publicly announced their departure. Publicly disclosed list: ・Researcher Carl Beek ・Researcher Julian Ma ・Protocol team member Barnabé Monnot ・Protocol team member Tim Beiko ・Protocol Guild organizer Trent Van Epps ・Former Protocol co-lead Alex Stokes (on leave) The resignation statements are generally polite, expressing gratitude to the team and acknowledging past achievements, but almost no one has explained why they’re leaving or shared their next steps. Speculated reasons include: lack of competitive salaries compared to other protocols, internal disagreements on direction, or simply career burnout. None of these have been confirmed so far.
