The Ascension of Perspectives: An Ontology from Local Self Pointing to Global Self Defense Introduction: Dialectics of Objects and Invariants When understanding the essence of complex systems, mathematician Felix Klein once proposed a profound insight: "Invariants are more important than objects." This statement reveals the core difference in system cognition: whether it stays at the local self reference of object-oriented systems or transitions to the global self reference of the whole. The self preserving function provides a global perspective of "emptiness", while the self referential structure is only a local microfractal within the self preserving function. The fundamental difference between the two lies in the topological dimensionality increase from a single perspective - self preserving functions have an additional 'global invariant' compared to self referential structures. 1、 The boundary of Turing machines and blind spots of self pointing Any individual object or local system naturally falls into a self referential logical loop. As the cornerstone of modern computing theory, Turing machines perfectly express self referential structures, but their fatal limitation is that Turing machines themselves cannot "recognize" and "judge" self referential structures (as revealed by the stopping problem). This inability to recognize stems from the homogeneity of perspectives. The determination of the self referential structure of an individual (object) must rely on the global self preserving invariant structure existing outside it. As Henri Poincar é said, axioms are essentially conventions, conventions about invariants. Global invariants do not exist independently in any single individual object, but are hidden within the organizational rules and structures that all individuals collectively form as a whole. The invariants in a self preserving function are always beyond the computability of a single Turing machine. 2、 Invariant projection in physical reality This visual dimensionality increase from individual to whole has an intuitive projection in the physical world. Taking the rotation of the Earth as an example: For objects located inside the Earth, due to their own self referential system of object-oriented thinking, it is impossible to directly "see" the axiomatic assumption of the Earth's rotation. The rotation of the Earth, as a directional invariant, does not exist within the local object of "internal objects of the Earth", but rather within the overall physical rules of the Earth's integration into the universe. Only when the observer shifts their perspective and uses non Earth objects such as the sun, moon, and stars as a reference frame, can this dynamic global invariant be revealed. This macroscopic self preservation function expression, even down to the scale, determines the laws at the microscopic level - it is the long-term effect of the invariant of the Earth's rotation that has led to the emergence of obvious "left-handed" external features such as genes (chemical structures) of Earth's organisms. 3、 Timechain and computability of group organization In the network world constructed by computation and cryptography, this philosophical logic has achieved the most ingenious engineering implementation. The entire physical and logical framework of the time chain is the perfect mapping of the self preserving function. In a time chain network, all individual node computations are highly symmetrical. Each node is performing computations belonging to the domain of individual Turing machines (it is worth noting that deterministic consensus such as BFT, no matter how frequently their nodes interact, essentially still does not jump out of the local self referential domain of individual Turing machines, lacking global physical dimensionality enhancement). The reason why time chain can achieve the emergence of group consensus is that it introduces the unique invariant of the entire system - the "longest chain" rule. According to the computability theory of group organization ($C '+\ text {Oracle}=C $), the symmetric hash calculation performed by nodes is only the process of individual Turing machines ($C' $), and the "longest chain" is the global organizational rule (Oracle) that transcends individual objects. When the local self referential computation incorporates this global self preserving invariant, the system crosses the decision boundary of the Turing machine and emerges an immutable macro consensus history ($C $). 4、 Tai Chi Diagram: Minimalist Abstraction of Self Defense and Self Pointing If we want to find the most perfect visual symbol in human civilization to govern this complex philosophical logic, the Taiji diagram( ☯️) Undoubtedly an unbeatable peak. The Taiji diagram presents an incredible minimalist composition while expressing a nested structure of self preservation and self reference: Local self referential fractals: Yin Yang fish eyes (black in white, white in black) perfectly depict the self referential features of object-oriented programming. Any individual system contains mappings of opposites within it. Global self preservation invariant: The dynamic balance between the perfect circle on the outside and the flow of yin and yang expresses a "global invariant" that does not belong to any party. The Taiji diagram reveals the ultimate truth of the system: individuals with self referential structures weave together a self-contained whole with global invariants in an endless cycle of symmetry. From self reference to self preservation, it is not only the unity of mathematics and physics, but also the inevitable path for individual computation to emerge and upgrade to the collective dimension.
