At this point, the only way to verify is through fact-checking. For big events, you might still be able to verify through searching related info. But for smaller, less-discussed matters, there’s often not enough information to fact-check. So for these smaller things, they’re almost indistinguishable from reality. Yang Yuanqing didn’t actually chat with Musk; Photos of the state banquet menu never actually leaked; The U.S. didn’t throw away the gifts China gave them. All the images below are fake, but I think a large number of people already believe these things actually happened.
