[Bank of America: $90 Oil Price is the 'Best Case Scenario,' Could Reach $130 by Early July if Dual Lockdowns Persist] Odaily Planet Daily News – The head of commodities and derivatives research at Bank of America stated that his best-case scenario forecast for oil prices is an average Brent crude price of $90 per barrel for the remainder of the year. However, if the stalemate with Iran persists or escalates due to new conflicts, the market could climb further. With a short-term resolution to the Hormuz Strait crisis seeming increasingly out of reach, more and more Wall Street strategists believe Brent crude will remain around $90 per barrel this year. A few weeks ago, Goldman Sachs raised its year-end Brent oil price forecast to approximately $90 per barrel, with WTI crude price expectations set at $83 per barrel. (Jin10)
