Reuters: Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex has processed at least $2.3 billion worth of transactions through Tron and BNB Chain in recent years According to Reuters, Nobitex, Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has processed at least $2.3 billion in transactions through Tron and BNB Chain since 2023. These two blockchains were founded by cryptocurrency tycoons Sun Yuchen and Zhao Changpeng, both of whom are major supporters of the Trump family's World Liberty Financial. The on chain data first disclosed by Reuters shows that since the outbreak of the Iran War in February, at least $22.6 million of cryptocurrency assets have flowed through Nobitex on BNB Chain, and at least $550000 of assets have flowed through Tron. Nobitex is widely used in sanctioned Iranian institutions, including the Central Bank of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The White House spokesperson denied that there is a conflict of interest in Trump's business.
