[A Resident in Colorado, USA Dies from Hantavirus Infection]

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment stated that an investigation into the incident is currently underway and clarified that this case is unrelated to the hantavirus outbreak on the 'Hondius' cruise ship. Furthermore, preliminary investigation results indicate that the patient contracted the virus locally through contact with rodents.
