According to Wu Blockchain, Aptos announced the launch of what it calls the world's first Korean Won (KRW)-pegged stablecoin, KRW1. KRW1 is issued by South Korean digital asset infrastructure company BDACS Korea and will be deployed on Aptos, marking its first integration with a non-EVM chain. Aptos stated that KRW1 will be applied to real-world use cases such as payments, cross-border remittances, and RWA tokenization in the future.
