Bit Digital's first quarter revenue fell by 14%, and the decline in ETH staking income dragged down performance
According to Golden Finance, on May 15th, Nasdaq listed company Bit Digital released its first quarter financial report for 2026, showing a total revenue of $27.9 million, a decrease of 13.6% from the previous quarter, mainly due to the decline in Ethereum staking income, cloud services, and mining business revenue.
Among them, ETH staking revenue decreased by 29.4% to 2.3 million US dollars, and the company stated that the reasons included the decline in ETH prices and the reduction in staking scale. As of the end of March, there were approximately 154400 Ethereum coins held with a value of approximately 327 million US dollars. Meanwhile, cloud service revenue decreased by 13.1% to $16.8 million, while Bitcoin mining revenue decreased by 32.9% to $3.7 million.
During the reporting period, the company's net loss expanded to $146.7 million, mainly due to non cash factors such as changes in the fair value of digital assets.
