Vance says the U.S. is making progress in talks with Iran
U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that after Trump rejected Tehran's latest proposal, calling it unacceptable, he believes progress is being made in negotiations with Iran.
'I think we are making progress. The fundamental question is whether we’ve made enough progress to meet the President’s red line,' Vance told reporters at the White House.
'And that red line is very simple. He needs to be confident that we have implemented several safeguards to ensure Iran will never possess nuclear weapons.'
