[Iraq and Pakistan Reportedly Signed Agreements with Iran to Transport Energy]
According to Golden Finance, on May 13, Iraq and Pakistan have respectively signed agreements with Iran to transport oil and liquefied natural gas from the Gulf region. Under the agreement, Iraq ensured the safe passage of two ultra-large crude oil tankers, which passed through the Strait of Hormuz on May 10, each carrying approximately 2 million barrels of crude oil. Meanwhile, under another bilateral agreement between Pakistan and Iran, two tankers loaded with Qatari liquefied natural gas are en route to Pakistan. Sources indicate that neither Iraq nor Pakistan has made direct payments to Iran or its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for transit matters. (CCTV News)
