Held talks with International Finance Corporation (IFC) Managing Director @Diop_IFC on the sidelines of the Africa Forward Summit, Nairobi. Our discussions focused on unlocking large-scale private capital to accelerate the delivery of dignified, quality and affordable homes for Kenyans. Shared Kenya’s experience in implementing our ambitious Affordable Housing Programme that is not only transforming lives and communities, but also creating jobs, expanding opportunities, and driving inclusive economic growth. We stressed the critical role of the IFC in supporting this agenda through technical expertise and innovative financing instruments that help de-risk investments and attract developers, contractors, and mortgage providers.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
