[eBay Rejects GameStop's Approximately $56 Billion Acquisition Offer]
Odaily Planet Daily News: According to market reports, eBay has rejected GameStop's approximately $56 billion acquisition offer, stating that the proposal is 'neither credible nor attractive.' Earlier reports indicated that on May 4, GameStop proposed acquiring eBay through a combination of $125 per share in cash and stock. GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen stated that the company already holds approximately 5% of eBay's shares and, if eBay rejects the acquisition proposal, he will consider launching a proxy battle and directly advancing the proposal to shareholders.
