According to Wu Blockchain, independent blockchain investigator tanuki42 tweeted that a suspected North Korean recruiter attempted to purchase the usage rights to their Upwork account for $300 per month. As disclosed, the recruiter wanted to use a U.S. citizen's Upwork account along with local devices, claiming that Upwork monitors users' IP addresses. They offered payment in USD or cryptocurrency, with an additional proposal to split 15% of monthly earnings later. tanuki42 stated that the recruiter then guided them to install AnyDesk / RustDesk remote control software to connect devices. Shortly after the connection was established, the recruiter disconnected, cleared the chat history, and blocked them. tanuki42 also shared related Indicators of Compromise (IOC) and included their Ethereum Security QF page at the end of the post for donations. https://(wublock123.com)/news/tanuki42-suspected-north-korean-recruiter-offering-300-month-upwork-account-60927
