According to The Block, a U.S. federal grand jury has indicted three Tennessee men for allegedly participating in a cryptocurrency robbery spanning multiple cities in California, involving approximately $6.5 million. The three suspects, Elijah Armstrong, Nino Chindavanh, and Jayden Rucker, are accused of conspiring to kidnap and rob victims in San Francisco, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Los Angeles. The suspects reportedly disguised themselves as delivery personnel to gain access to victims' residences, using firearms, tape, and zip ties to carry out the attacks. They forced one victim to surrender access to a cryptocurrency account, transferring approximately $6.5 million in crypto assets to wallets under their control. The three individuals have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and kidnapping.
