[Robinhood Submits Application for Second Public Venture Fund RVII]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 12, Robinhood submitted an application for the issuance of its second publicly traded venture fund, RVII, approximately two months after the launch of its first fund, RVI. Robinhood stated that the fundraising target for RVII has not yet been determined; the previous target for RVI was $1 billion, though the actual fundraising amount fell short of that goal. Records show that RVI holds shares in 10 private companies, including OpenAI, Stripe, Databricks, and Revolut. Robinhood noted that these two funds allow retail investors to purchase publicly traded shares linked to portfolios of private startups through regular brokerage accounts.
