Odaily Planet Daily News – MARA reported Q1 revenue of $174.6 million, a year-over-year decline of 18%, with a net loss of $1.3 billion, primarily due to unrealized losses on 38,689 bitcoins held on its balance sheet. During the quarter, MARA sold approximately $1.1 billion worth of bitcoin to repay debt and improve liquidity. The company stated that bitcoin mining remains the cornerstone of its operations but is shifting its focus toward AI and digital infrastructure, and it does not anticipate large-scale ASIC miner purchases in the future. Currently, its hash rate has expanded to 72.2 EH/s, with 2,247 bitcoins mined during the quarter.
