Circle releases Arc blockchain white paper, mainnet expected to launch in summer 2026 According to the Arc white paper released by Circle, the Arc mainnet is expected to be launched in the summer of 2026, and the testnet was launched in October 2025, with a total of 244.1 million transactions processed as of May 5, 2026. Arc is positioned as a public Layer1 blockchain for institutions, compatible with EVM, natively integrated with USDC, supporting sub second level deterministic settlement, stablecoin based gas fees, and configurable privacy features. Cross chain transfers are completed through Circle CCTP. The white paper also reveals that the initial supply of Arc native token ARC is 10 billion, of which 60% will be allocated to ecological construction, 25% will belong to Circle, and 15% will be used as long-term reserves.
