Last year, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE fired CDC inspectors and port health workers whose entire job was to track global viruses.    We must rehire the CDC cruise ship inspectors, port health workers, and disease detectives Trump fired.    We must restore the infectious disease, vaccine, and preparedness funding that Trump and RFK Jr. gutted across HHS and the CDC.   And we must rejoin the WHO.    All three steps are common sense.(Chuck Schumer)
