[Qatar LNG Carrier Passes Through the Strait of Hormuz for the First Time in About 70 Days]
Odaily Planet Daily News – According to updated shipping tracking information from the 'Marine Traffic Website' on the 10th, a Qatar liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Gulf of Oman, heading toward Pakistan. Reportedly, this is the first Qatar LNG carrier to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since the U.S. and Israel launched military actions against Iran approximately 70 days ago. The tracking map shows that the vessel utilized a new shipping channel recently activated by Iran. On the 9th, the LNG carrier sent location information via the Automatic Identification System (AIS), indicating it had entered the Strait of Hormuz, but subsequently stopped transmitting location signals for an extended period. Updated shipping tracking information on the 10th confirmed that the vessel had successfully passed through the strait and entered the Gulf of Oman. (Xinhua News Agency)
