"A simple phrase like 'a dog can't stop eating poop' perfectly illustrates the difference between ETH's decentralization and BTC's lack of centralization.
I have a dog that doesn't eat poop. Why doesn't it eat poop? Because I taught it from a young age that poop is off-limits—essentially setting an axiom in the dog's system where poop doesn't exist. This is similar to BTC's foundational axiom of no centralization.
On the other hand, blockchains like ETH started off with the 'global state,' which is essentially a centralized piece of poop. No matter how much effort is made to decentralize later, it can never achieve true non-centralization. In other words: a dog can't stop eating poop. This is akin to the ledger's central 'global state' that can never truly be removed."
