Trust Wallet and Mesh Redefine Crypto Wallets to Serve AI Agents

According to CoinDesk, executives from Trust Wallet and Mesh stated at Consensus Miami that AI agents are driving adjustments to crypto wallet architecture, enabling autonomous software to hold assets, execute transactions, and establish on-chain identities. Mesh has launched the Smart Funding product, which can automatically route payments across different chains, networks, accounts, and tokens, serving both human users and AI agents. Trust Wallet has introduced an 'AI Co-Pilot' in its user-facing wallet, allowing users to retain private keys and gradually authorize actions; on the developer side, it has released the Agent Kit, enabling agents to autonomously execute transactions, transfers, and other operations, while implementing EIP-8004 to establish on-chain identities and credit scoring for agents.
