[A Qatari Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier is Crossing the Strait of Hormuz]
Reported by Jinse Finance, on May 9th, it was reported that a liquefied natural gas carrier associated with Qatar loaded cargo at Ras Laffan Port earlier this month. On Saturday morning local time, the vessel began attempting to exit the Persian Gulf. Ship tracking data shows that the vessel is currently navigating the northern route near Qeshm Island and Larak Island, approved by Iran. If the vessel successfully passes through, this will mark Qatar's first known liquefied natural gas export through the Strait of Hormuz since the outbreak of war at the end of February. The vessel's displayed destination is Port Qasim in Pakistan, with an expected arrival date of May 1st. (Jin10)
