WuShuo has learned that Wasabi Protocol released a post-mortem on a security incident, stating that on April 30, attackers exploited a vulnerability in its AWS infrastructure to gain access to the private keys controlling its smart contracts. They stole $4.8 million in user funds from EVM contracts and $900,000 from project treasury funds. The affected scope includes certain vaults on Ethereum, Base, Blast, and Berachain; however, Solana deployments and Prop AMM were not impacted.
