Bitcoin mining company and data center operator TeraWulf reported a net loss of approximately $427 million in Q1 2026, up from $61.4 million in the same period last year. Quarterly revenue was around $34 million, with roughly 60% coming from AI high-performance computing (HPC) operations. Revenue from this segment grew 117% quarter-over-quarter to about $21 million, while Bitcoin mining revenue dropped 50% quarter-over-quarter to approximately $13 million. The company stated that future revenue will increasingly shift toward AI computing power driven by long-term contracts, aiming to reduce reliance on Bitcoin mining volatility.
