[Vitalik Buterin's Approximately $4 Token Swap Transaction Hit by MEV Bot Sandwich Attack] Deep Tide TechFlow reports: On May 8, according to CoinDesk, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin was subjected to a sandwich attack by the well-known MEV bot jaredfromsubway.eth during a small token swap on April 30. On-chain data shows that in block 24993038, Buterin swapped 26,544 XDB tokens worth approximately $3.86 for 0.00197 ETH (around $4.56). The bot subsequently deployed approximately $1.14 million WETH to manipulate prices between SushiSwap and Uniswap V2 to execute the sandwich attack. After deducting $5.14 in gas fees, the bot actually incurred a loss in this attack.
