Foresight News reports that the AI Research Center of Sarawak, Malaysia, has signed a memorandum of understanding in Manchester, UK, to collaborate on the development of green sovereign AI, designating privacy AI company ((((FLock.io)))) as the sole technology partner. In this partnership, ((((FLock.io)))) will focus on supporting the construction of national-level privacy-protecting AI infrastructure, enabling AI models to be trained and optimized locally where the data resides, thereby reducing the need for centralized uploads or cross-border transfers of sensitive data. Previously, ((((FLock.io)))) had conducted large-scale localized distributed AI infrastructure deployments in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak. Moving forward, related partnership agreements and roundtable discussions on sovereign AI development will continue in Cambridge and Oxford, further advancing discussions on AI policy, economic impact, governance, security, and trustworthy deployment.
