[Meta Plans to Launch AI Assistant to Compete with OpenClaw] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on May 6, citing the British Financial Times via Jin10, Meta Platforms (META.O) is building a highly personalized AI assistant to perform daily tasks. At the same time, the company is facing scrutiny from investors due to its soaring AI expenditures. According to informed sources, the company is developing agent-based tools for its more than 3 billion users, including an advanced digital assistant powered by the new Muse Spark AI model. A person familiar with the project stated that the assistant is currently being internally tested by a group of employees. Another insider revealed that the goal is to develop a product similar to OpenClaw, which allows users to create AI bots known as "agents" to autonomously complete tasks on their behalf. A person familiar with the project mentioned that Meta aims to enable users to provide highly sensitive information, such as health and financial data, to the assistant when they choose to share it. However, some have questioned whether consumers would be willing to do so.
