Uniswap proposes to withdraw $42 million worth of UNI tokens, voting ends on May 8th According to a report by Golden Finance, Uniswap DAO is currently voting on a proposal to reclaim approximately 12.5 million UNI (about $42 million) previously lent to representatives and foundations. The vote will end on May 8th, with approximately 53% in favor, 46% abstaining, and very few against. Uniswap revealed that it had lent out the aforementioned governance tokens between 2022 and 2023 to enhance governance participation. However, the current governance activity has significantly increased, and the relevant mechanisms have achieved the expected results.
