According to a report by Golden Finance on May 5, 'Big Short' Michael Burry has liquidated all his shares in GameStop (GME.N), following GameStop's announcement of its acquisition of eBay (EBAY.O).
On Monday, Burry stated that his previous investment logic—transforming GameStop into a Berkshire Hathaway-style company akin to Warren Buffett through mergers and acquisitions—was incompatible with the large-scale debt financing required for the eBay acquisition, leading him to exit the investment.
