BTC spent the weekend fluctuating narrowly between 8k-9k, currently sitting at 8,800. Two things worth mentioning: 1. April set a record for the worst hacking incidents in history—29 cases with losses totaling $1.51 billion, 76% of which was taken by North Korea. Just the Drift and Kelp DAO projects alone accounted for $0.79 billion. Security is an old topic, but the losses keep hitting new highs. 2. Major shifts in miner dynamics. Bitdeer liquidated all their BTC holdings, and MARA sold tens of thousands of BTC to build an AI data center. Mining is gradually turning into a computing power rental business. CNN also published an investigative report yesterday on Satoshi Nakamoto's identity. Worth a read, but don’t expect any definitive conclusions. BTC short-term support at 8k, resistance at 10k. Without strong catalysts, it’s likely to keep grinding sideways.
