[OPEC+ Plans to Raise Production Target by 188,000 Barrels/Day Starting in June] According to Jintou reports, a draft statement from OPEC+ reveals that seven OPEC+ countries have agreed to increase the oil production target for June by approximately 188,000 barrels per day, marking the third consecutive monthly increase. This move aims to demonstrate the organization's readiness to boost supply after the war ends. Sources indicate that despite the UAE's withdrawal from the organization this week, OPEC+ will continue to advance its production increase plan. The seven member countries attending Sunday's meeting are Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Oman. OPEC stated in a report last month that the average daily crude oil production of all OPEC+ member countries in March was 35.06 million barrels, a decrease of 770,000 barrels per day compared to February, with Iraq and Saudi Arabia experiencing the largest production cuts due to export restrictions. The draft statement notes that the seven member countries will meet again on June 7.
