[Crypto Financing in April Drops 74% Month-on-Month to $659 Million, Hitting Lowest Level Since July 2024]
Reported by Jinse Finance, on May 2, data shows that the total crypto financing in April amounted to $659 million, a 74% decrease compared to $2.6 billion in March. The number of financing deals dropped from 84 to 63. Since 2026, cumulative financing has reached approximately $5.64 billion.
April's financing marked the lowest level since July 2024. The decline in funding reflects a cautious approach by investment institutions amid weakening liquidity and risk appetite. Among specific sectors, DeFi projects garnered the most attention, completing 12 financing deals in April. Blockchain services and AI-related projects each completed 8 deals. On the investment side, market maker GSR was the most active investor of the month, participating in 4 financing transactions.
